Meet the Experts
Chad
Chad is the founder of Building Performance Co. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering, years of construction design experience, and a passion for the environment, he has focused his expertise on radon and soil vapor mitigation. He is nationally, NRPP, and state certified for both radon measurement and mitigation, having personally designed and installed thousands of systems. As a Certified HERS Rater, he has also evaluated hundreds of buildings for energy efficiency.
Chad currently serves as the Lead Radon Mitigation Trainer at Kansas State University’s Regional Radon Training Center, where he teaches both introductory and continuing education courses. He is a past President of the Salina Home Builders Association and the State HBA, and served on the Salina Building Advisory Board during the last code adoption cycle. Nationally, he is a former board member and Vice President of AARST, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Heartland Chapter while contributing to several radon standards committees.
Sam Nunemaker
Sam, a lifelong Salina resident, joined Radon Solutions in 2024 and became a Kansas Certified Radon Mitigation Specialist in August. Sam’s quality conscious approach to leading our residential radon mitigation crew is a great asset to Radon Solutions and our clients. In his free time, Sam enjoys being involved in scouting with his kids. If you need popcorn let us know!
Keat Robinson
Keat, a recent Kansas State Graduate, has worked for Radon Solutions on and off throughout school and joined the team full time in May 2025. On the job, you may find him in a crawl space installing vapor barrier, digging a suction pit, or installing a pipe run, but he is probably dreaming of metal working on his forge, milling timber, or rock climbing.
